    Life before Starfleet:

Born on earth, he was brought aboard a starfleet vessel at the early age of five. His father worked as Captain of the starship Alternative. After the untimely death of both his parents and the kidnapping of his baby sister, Jov went to live with his grandfather in Israel. Even though he didn't consider himself as a good people person, with help from his grandfather, he pursued the profession of counseling, applying at the starfleet academy at the age of 23.

    Starfleet record:

Despite his grief for the loss of his immediate family, Jov managed to graduate with honors and finished only second to the highest in his class. After graduation, he taught at the university of Betazed. Following five years on Betazed, Jov received a posting on the USS-Chameleon with the rank of Lieutenant Commander and the position of Counselor. Leaving the Chameleon for two and a half years, Jov came back as the ship as Tactical Adviser after taking his bridge officers' exam.

    Psychological portrait:

Jov is a peaceful, fun loving man. Always trying to find something funny in any situation. Unlike most counselors, he is not empathic and uses his detective skills to find the right course of action for advisory. With the loss of his parents and his baby sister from him when he was younger, Jov became a man that as much as possible keeps his problems to himself. With the influence of his grandfather however he became open with his emotions to other people and sometimes even able to crack a joke even in critical situations. He finds humor in any situation, though recently he had his heart broken and now finds it difficult to trust anyone as easily as he used to. He also finds humor to be very therapeutic for most of his patients and sometimes advises them to go laugh with themselves and not at themselves sometimes. Also feels cursed based on the concept that since he has served on ships, they always seem to crash or something bad happens to the vessels within the two year time he spends serving on them.
